To encourage Georgia Tech US citizen students to participate in the China Summer Program (CSP) and gain international experience, we are pleased to offer a number of Coulter Scholarships to qualified undergraduate students who study on the CSP, thanks to the generous support from the Wallace H. Coulter Foundation. Each CSP Coulter Scholarship award amount is $1,000.
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following requirements:
(i) The student is a U.S. citizen;
(ii) The student’s current Georgia Tech GPA is 3.0 or above, or in the case of transient students (non-Georgia Tech students), their current institution’s GPA is 3.25 or above;
(iii) The applicant is a GT undergraduate student in good disciplinary standing.
Required application essay: Interested students should submit an essay containing 400-600 words to gtshenzhen@nullece.gatech.edu by the application deadline.
CSP Coulter Scholarship application deadline: December 31, 2024
Note: Freshmen currently without a GPA are still eligible to apply by the deadline. Your application will be reviewed, and your GPA will be checked once it becomes available.
The scholarship application essay should include:
(i) Your name, GTID, major, email, phone number.
(ii) A description of your unique characteristics and capabilities, achievements, service, etc.
(iii) A description of your past experiences (or lack of) interacting with the AAPI (Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders) community and what you hope to gain from this study abroad experience.
